CLASS ACTION AGAINST GREAT PACIFIC MANAGEMENT COMPANY LTD. (now named Dundee Securities Corporation/Corporation de Valeurs Mobilieres Dundee)

On December 1, 2006, the Settlement Agreement concluding this class proceeding was approved by Madam Justice Wedge in the Supreme Court of British Columbia. The Court also approved the counsel fees of 40% as sought. Further information on the settlement, including the application materials relied upon by class counsel, is available on this website here.

Class members who have completed Settlement Questionnaires and returned them to us can expect to receive settlement cheques by mail within the next two weeks. Members who have not yet filled in a Questionnaire can request a copy from our office, using the contact information above, or can fill it out online, following the link below.

Finally, any class member who lived outside British Columbia on September 2, 2004, must fill out a Notice to Opt In to Class Proceeding, in addition to the Questionnaire above. We will have to seek Court approval to pay out claims from any class members who submit such Notices to our firm after December 1, 2006.
